The day Team GB hit gold -twice! We joined Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome at Hampton Court Palace for the Individual Time Trial and proudly sung God Save The Queen with thousands of other spectators. Bradley won Gold and Chris won Bronze.
Before the men set off we watched the women go. With riders leaving every 90 seconds things were fast paced and kept us on our toes. We felt the breeze as some riders came very close to us on the bend at 200m to go. We had to be very careful to not drop our sunhats or flags over the barriers, which made a very loud noise as we banged them!
The children were very happy playing on the picnic rug which also saved us a good amount of space.
What an awesome day, we came home very tired, but very happy - especially Susanna!
